Hello everyone!! Thank you to everyone who shared their gross motor activities for kids this past week on our Facebook page. We have some great activities to share! Keep in mind that if you have missed past Movement Mondays, we have a Pinterest board dedicated to all of the great gross motor ideas we’ve featured here. Now for our favorites from this week!
SUGAR AUNTS shared this awesome outdoor activity emphasizing the importance of movement to enhance learning AND crossing midline! We love the therapeutic benefits in this fun activity. Your kiddos will be so enthralled with the giant magnetic space that they won’t even realize that they’re getting a great workout with their bodies and minds!
WHERE IMAGINATION GROWS shared this super cute activity for body awareness and sequencing. Lisette has included several variations of how to keep the kiddos moving and we think it looks like a blast! So creative!
And, finally, Ashley from ME AND MARIE LEARNING BLOG shared her driveway town. Kids will LOVE this! Complete with stop signs, roads and even a TARGET, this is a great outdoor motor activity that would keep kids busy for hours.
Thank you all for your amazing shares this week! If you have a great gross motor activity for kids that you would love to share, please head on over to our Facebook Page today and post in on our wall. We would love to see your gross motor play ideas! Have a fabulous week!
