Another great week of gross motor activities for kids coming from some of our favorite bloggers! Â We so appreciate that you take the time to share them on our Facebook page for Movement Monday. Â Here are a few of our favorites from this week.
TODDLER APPROVEDÂ shared this great activity to work on math skills by using gross motor movement. Â We all have had those moments in our homes of complete chaos when our kiddos run laps pushing strollers and other wheeled toys. Â Well, the genius of this activity is that it puts those strollers and toys to good use with a controlled learning and movement task. Â A win, win situation in my book!
MY LITTLE 3 AND MEÂ posted this beautiful rainbow windsock craft. Â It is so simple to make with her instructions and is perfect for spring. Â Kids will love running, jumping, spinning and dancing with it indoors or out.
And we LOVE this one from KITCHEN FLOOR CRAFTS. Â This is an activity inspired by Dr. Suess’s “The Foot Book” and is a gross motor and sensory experience that your children will not forget! Â So much fun!!!
