Check out this super simple snowflake craft that is great for promoting fine motor strength and coordination!
I love seeing the excitement on my kids’ faces when they see the first snow of the season. And, after a super mild November and December here in Ohio, we’re finally starting to see some freezing temps and snowflakes here and there! Hooray!
You know what that means? Snowflake-themed EVERYTHING! We have a few fun snowflake games, crafts, and activities that are guaranteed to challenge and entertain your little ones this winter! To start…washi tape snowflakes!
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
-Washi tape (any color or pattern – we used shiny glittery tape for some and they turned out great!)
–Printable snowflake templates
WHAT TO DO:
This is an easy one! Kids can simply tear off pieces of tape and place them along the lines on the templates to decorate the snowflakes!
HOW TO CHANGE IT UP:
-Place the pieces of tape on the table instead of on the roll to make it a little easier for kids to pick them up and tear them off.
-What about making GIANT tape snowflakes? Lightly draw a large snowflake shape on the carpet with chalk. Have kids decorate the snowflake with pieces of tape!
