Last week, we were so fortunate to have the amazing Emily from Eager Ed here at The Inspired Treehouse to share some super creative movement activities for kids. Did you try any of them? SO.MUCH.FUN!
You must have been inspired to create your own activities to encourage gross motor play because the number of shares on our Facebook page last week was CRAZY!
Here are a few of our favorites:
KIDS YOGA STORIES || Giselle is always one of our “go-to” girls for great movement activities and yoga sequences for kids. Try the flower pose with your kids and have fun looking at the pictures of others from all around the world doing this pose too!
AND NEXT COMES L || I love this simple, yet VERY effective homemade activity jar that Dyan put together. It focuses on gross motor, vestibular and heavy work activities. You can even modify the activities for anything your child may be needing to calm, strengthen, or wake up their bodies!
A THRIFTY MUM || Jen put together a comprehensive list of activities and exercises that promote whole body movement INDOORS when you might not be able to get outside! You know all about those spring showers, right? Rain, rain go away!
If you are on Spring Break this week, ENJOY! If not, have a great week anyway!! :)
