So many familiar friends came back to share their gross motor activities for kids on our Facebook wall this week! You are all so creative and inspiring! Spring has finally sprung and it is time to get outside and get some whole body movement going on. Here are our favorite ideas from this week!
HOMEGROWN FRIENDS took to the outdoors and got messy with this activity that combined gross motor movement with some sensory motor fun. Come on moms….doesn’t this make you want to kick your shoes off and play too? And just wait until you see what Meredith suggests that you do with this masterpiece! BRILLIANT!
OOOOOO, moving to a song is a favorite in the Treehouse! This little jingle by LET’S PLAY KIDS MUSIC is perfect for spring. Soon the little ducklings will be hatching and your toddler can sing to them and show them how to move.
ENCHANTED HOMESCHOOLING MOM shared a whole post on fun with hula hoops this week! She has great ideas for getting kiddos moving with this classic, cheap and easy to find toy.
That’s all for today! Be sure to check out all of the other great activities that were shared on our Facebook Page last week and dig through your archives to find your favorite gross motor activity for kids and share it today! We LOVE to see how you are encouraging movement through play.
Check out these great gross motor activities for kids!
