These free printable Halloween templates are perfect to use with kids of all ages at home, in the classroom, during therapy sessions, or even at a Halloween party to practice fine motor skills and visual motor skills!
Every year around this time, we’re on the lookout for some new free Halloween printables to use with our kids in therapy and during our play groups at The Treehouse. This year, we decided to create our own!
How to Use the Free Halloween Templates
1 || Grab the free download above.
2 || Laminate each of the pages.
3 || Decide how you want to use the printable set. There are a ton of ways to play!
-Try them with Wikki Stix! Have kids use Wikki Stix to outline each of the templates, adding faces, and other details according to the instructions. We love using these sticky wax-covered sticks to help kids make their own pictures and creations while also targeting visual motor skills and hand eye coordination.
-Try them with play dough! Kids will love adding the faces and details to each page, while also getting the chance to create their own Halloween masterpieces! Play dough is great for targeting the skills mentioned above, with the added bonus of some hand strengthening work too!
-Try them with dry erase markers! This is a fun way for kids to work on grasping skills, tracing, pencil control, and prewriting skills with a Halloween theme! Tracing and drawing activities are important precursors to handwriting and are great for toddlers and preschoolers!
4 || Have kids complete the instructions on each page, outlining and tracing the spider webs, giving legs to the spiders, etc.
These spider-themed free printables are a great start…but why not grab the whole pack? Download the freebie above, to see a whole pack of Halloween printables, including pages with ghosts, Frankenstein, pumpkins, witches, treats, and more!
We hope your kids have a blast with these spider printable templates!
