Whether you’re a therapist or a teacher, it’s always great when a new tool comes along that makes planning and preparation a little easier. Among our most recent favorites is this set of awesome dry erase pouches.
We know, it doesn’t seem like such an unassuming accessory could be that exciting or interesting. But trust us. These pouches do more than just hold worksheets. They can transform your classroom or therapy sessions by becoming the foundation for tons of interactive and reusable activities.
Why Use Dry Erase Pouches?
First off, dry erase pouches offer a sustainable alternative to traditional paper-and-pencil activities, making them an eco-friendly choice.
These pouches provide an opportunity for honing fine motor skills, handwriting, tracing, drawing, executive functioning, and more. Their wipe-and-reuse design encourages repetition, a critical element for mastery of skills for kids with various developmental needs.
In the classroom, dry erase pouches breathe new life into lessons, transforming static worksheets into dynamic exercises. Whether used for quick problem-solving activities, math drills, or spelling practice, these pouches promote student engagement and hands-on participation.
In this blog post, we’ll talk about ways dry erase pouches can be used to practice various skills in therapy and in the classroom. And, we’ll share links to some free printables that are perfect for using with your dry erase pouches.
