When we think of the bathroom, we automatically think of bath time! It’s one of our favorite experiences for promoting sensory and motor development in kids because water play elicits all kinds of great developmental skills.

But bath toys and soap suds aren’t the only bathroom staples. What about your toilet paper?
Quilted Northern® works so well that people can forget their bathroom experience. But, left behind carelessly on the edge of the tub after the kids’ latest scuba excursion, the Blue Goggles aren’t so lucky. They’ve have been forced to endure the unimaginable. They may not have eyes, but still, they can’t unsee…and they forget nothing. They can only hope for a particularly hot shower to fog them up and block out at least some of the horror.
I have to admit that I was a little bit skeptical when Quilted Northern® contacted us to tell us about their funny #HelpMeForget campaign. How can you make toilet paper funny? I thought.
And then I watched their series of Designed to be Forgotten videos directed by Academy Award Nominee, Bennett Miller on YouTube and died laughing. Here’s the premise: While Quilted Northern® puts a great deal of thought and effort into designing and making toilet paper, the company is celebrating the fact that their bath tissue gives you a completely forgettable experience. It’s Designed to Be Forgotten…get it?
But, your poor, unfortunate bathroom objects aren’t as lucky. The Designed to be Forgotten videos hilariously highlight the unfortunate experiences bathroom objects are forced to witness every day. My favorite is the framed picture of “Great Grandpa Thaddeus”.
Check out the #HelpMeForget videos for a good laugh and follow Quilted Northern® on Facebook! When you’re done watching, have your little ones slap on their Blue Goggles and hop in the tub for some water-filled fun!
