Mother’s Day Printable
There’s nothing I love more than going back through my scrapbooks and reading funny quotes from my kids. It’s so great to have documentation of their great one liners, hilarious comments, and funny questions.
Today’s fun Mother’s Day printable gives kids a chance to tell about their moms. If there are any dads out there looking for last minute crafts or fine motor activities to turn into Mother’s Day gifts…this one’s for you! Moms will love hearing their child’s impressions and thoughts about them – you never know what they’re going to say!
What You’ll Need:
-crayons
-a pencil
-a highlighter (optional)
What to do:
Print the poem template and let your little one color and decorate the frame however she wants – the more colorful the better! Then, have her fill in the blanks to tell about her mom!
How to change it up:
-If your child is a new writer, have her dictate her answers to you. Write them in the blanks using a highlighter and have her trace the words.
-Even if your child is too young for writing, don’t miss out on hearing her thoughts about her mom! Pose each line of the poem as a question and fill in each of the blanks with her answers. The little ones usually have some of the funniest answers!
