2 10 Trick-or-Treaters by Janet Schulman: A brightly illustrated story that will have your little one rhyming, counting, and getting excited for Halloween! It also comes in a Kindle edition.
3 Boogie Monster Dance Kit by Josie Bissett and Kevan Atteberry: This awesome little package would make an adorable birthday, Christmas, or even Halloween gift! Bissett’s book, Boogie Monster comes packaged with furry Boogie Legs (plush leggings for kids to wear), and a CD of kids dance tunes! An awesome opportunity for your little one to get up and move!
4 Go Away, Big Green Monster by Ed Emberley: This cute, colorful book would be a perfect introduction to a monster craft for Halloween! Have kids cut out eyes, noses, mouths, and other features to make their own scary monster!
5 The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything by Linda D. Williams: One of our all-time favorites! An adorable tale about a lady who encounters some pretty spooky things on her walk home, but stands up to her fears, resulting in a cute ending! Have kids act out all of the movements and sounds in the book for an engaging movement experience!
