Happy Monday everyone! We hope you had a fantastic holiday weekend if you live here in the USA and that you were able to get lots of play outside with your little ones to work on those gross motor skills!
Our week was busy at The Inspired Treehouse. Our post about Toe Walking was shared by our friend Vanessa at Pre-K Pages (another fantastic blog that you should definitely check out!) and things went viral from there! The post sparked a lot of conversation – and even a bit of controversy – and brought many new readers and followers to The Inspired Treehouse.
You all rocked our Facebook Share Day last week with your play ideas for targeting gross motor skills! Here are a few of our favorites!
BAMBINI TRAVEL || Check out these fun pool games for little ones that aren’t quite swimming on their own yet! We definitely played “Motor Boat” with our kiddos, but some of these I have never heard of!
CRYSTAL & CO || If there is one place you can take your kids that will definitely encourage gross motor skills development, it’s the playground! This list of 10 games for the playground will keep them busy even if the traditional playground equipment doesn’t!
KIDS YOGA STORIES || This yoga sequence is just plain fun! Have your child roll out her mat as the stage and get moving with Pop Star Yoga!
ENJOY YOUR WEEK!
