Here’s a fun game to add to your list of free teletherapy materials! A great way to get kids active and moving as they celebrate Valentine’s Day!
Whether you’re working with kids virtually OR in-person – this simple game is a great movement break or warm-up activity! The slides are easy to use in a one-on-one or group setting and can even be used in a classroom with a larger group of kids using a SMART board or projector.
What you’ll need:
What to do:
Simply pull the Google Slides presentation up on screen share if you’re working with a child virtually or pull it up on your computer if you’re in person.
Click through the slides one by one and ask the child each of the questions. Rather than answering verbally, have them perform the movement associated with each answer to show which choice they would prefer.
How to change it up:
-If you’re playing with a group, you could make this a graphing activity by showing visually how many kids in the group chose each of the answers for each question.
-Add your own slides with different questions and/or movements depending on the skills you’re targeting with the child.
