We couldn’t be more excited today to be welcoming our friend Angela Hanscom to our Happy New Year, Healthy Kids series today!
Angela is a pediatric occupational therapist and the founder of Timbernook, an innovative nature-based developmental program designed to foster creativity, imagination, and independent play in the great outdoors.
Because of Angela’s background as an occupational therapist, Timbernook outdoor camps are designed to impact child development and wellness on all levels, with activities and experiences that strengthen: Gross motor skills, attention, visual skills, auditory processing, fine motor skills, social-emotional skills, creativity, and more!
Check out the video on the Timbernook homepage to get an idea of what they have to offer – you’ll be inspired! We’re thrilled that Timbernook will soon be opening a location right near us here in Ohio!
Angela is with us today to talk about the importance of exploration in childhood. Be sure to click through and read her post: EXPLORE MORE – WORRY LESS: Children depend on it.
And while you’re at it, connect with Timbernook on Facebook and Twitter!
