Happy Monday to everyone! We missed you! We didn’t have any activities shared last Monday that were geared toward gross motor skills, but things have turned around this week and we have some awesome inspiration for whole body movement for you and your kiddos to try!
Jodie from GROWING BOOK BY BOOK shared a game with a Christmas twist that gets kids moving while learning the alphabet! You know how much we love that movement/learning combo!
Minute to Win It games are always a hit in our house and in my children’s classroom parties! Sharla from THE CHAOS AND THE CLUTTER put together a family game night full of Minute to Win It games that got everyone moving! What a perfect way to celebrate New Year’s Eve, don’t you think?
And, finally, BAMBINI TRAVEL got little ones moving with a strip of paper, some paint and a pair of boots! We have seen this activity with bare feet, but the boots add a new proprioceptive challenge and are perfect for winter! :)
That’s all for today! The countdown to Christmas has begun at this house. How about you? Are you ready? Make sure that you take some time out to enjoy the season with your family. Head outside and build a snowman or take a walk around the block to check out the neighbor’s lights! Whatever you do to get active this time of year, do it together!
