It is the policy of The Inspired Treehouse to ensure objectivity in all continuing education programs. Presenters, speakers or authors are permitted to mention products developed by the individual or from their companies, as part of their presentation. Mention or discussion of commercial products must not be the sole purpose of the course and must comprise less than 5% of the content of the course. Any commercial products mentioned during any continuing education offering must have strong relevance to the course content and objectives. The Inspired Treehouse contracts with other experienced therapists who provide content for and present our continuing education courses. Continuing education contractors are compensated based revenue generated by each course. Contractors have ongoing professional and financial relationships with the owners of The Inspired Treehouse.
Presenters must disclose their financial/commercial interest to the audience before mentioning/discussing their commercial products during continuing education courses.
Disclosure must take place in the following ways: 1 – Verbally mentioning the financial/commercial interest before discussing the product during the presentation. 2 – Written disclosure on the sales page for the course, seen by potential participants prior to purchasing. 3 – Written disclosure included in the course materials.
