For the next 12 months, we’ll be teaming up with a great group of pediatric occupational and physical therapists to create a series of posts based on functional skills for kids. Each month, our team of OTs and PTs will cover everything you need to know about one of the daily functions of a child.
This year-long series is for parents, teachers, therapists, and anyone who is looking for information about all the tasks in which a child engages throughout the day. You’ll see each childhood function broken down into development, fine motor considerations, gross motor considerations, sensory considerations, visual perceptual considerations, accommodations and modifications, creative ways to work on problem areas, and more.
Each month, this page will be updated with our posts from the Functional Skills for Kids Series.
