At The Inspired Treehouse, we believe that medical professionals aren’t the only ones who should know a thing or two about child development. The more parents, teachers, and caregivers know about promoting health and wellness in kids, the better off kids are! In our practice as pediatric therapists and in our interactions with other parents, we find that many parents, teachers, and caregivers have the same concerns about kids’ development and similar questions about what they can do to help kids achieve developmental milestones on time. Our posts entitled "Tricks of the Trade" are features ... Read More about CHILD DEVELOPMENT: TRICKS OF THE TRADE

It’s quick, it’s easy, and it’s one of those recipes that isn’t really a recipe. You just kind of throw in whatever you have on hand, which makes it the perfect thing to whip up with little ones! And, the OT in me LOVES it for all of the great fine motor work kids can get as they pick up and sprinkle in all of the little ingredients! I keep hoping one year we will catch a glimpse of a live one in the sand. The kids would be overjoyed! For today, we’ll keep our real shell collections on the shelf and have some fun creating one of my favorite ocean crafts for kids: a textured starfish craft! Get ...
