Healthy Food, Healthy Kids: The Kids Rule Program
Between work, school, sports practices, classes, birthday parties, and school and family events, the schedule at our house can be crazy. You can probably relate!
And for me, as soon as life gets crazy busy, the first thing to go is our diet. My husband and I come home at the end of a long day cranky and tired – and the last thing we feel like doing is cooking a healthy meal for ourselves and our three boys.
Eventually we find that multiple dinners a week are arriving in a flat cardboard box or a paper carry-out bag. And guess what? Those meals only leave us feeling even more tired and cranky.
And then there are the kids. They start getting used to those quick-fix dinners and easy-to-grab packaged snacks too and it’s really hard to get everyone back on track. Add holidays and parties into the mix and we’re pretty much riding a junk food rollercoaster from the sugar highs straight down to the tummy aching lows. Someone help!
[Cue superhero theme song]
Have you heard about the team of superheroes at Prescribe Nutrition?
When I say that these ladies are superheroes, I’m not lying. This team of nutritionists has created a healthy eating movement with their awesome line-up of nutrition programs that are “for everyone out there who is ready to make their peace with food and feel their absolute best – for the long haul.”
When things with our eating habits were at their absolute worst, we threw caution to the wind and tried their program, Kids Rule with our entire family.
The Kids Rule Program
The nutritionists at Prescribe Nutrition have partnered with Weelicious to create this incredible program that includes delicious kid-friendly recipes and tons of information about why you’re eating what you’re eating (and how/why to stay away from other foods that aren’t so great).
When you enroll in Prescribe Nutrition’s programs, you get access to the team of nutritionists and experts, access to an amazing and active discussion board so you can “meet” and get to know all of the other participants, and tons of information via podcasts, videos, and downloadable fact sheets.
