Welcome back to our 10 Days to Conquer series! Today, our mini workout will help kids work up to pumping a swing independently!
Check out this great article on the social, cognitive, and physical benefits of swinging! And here are some super fun activities to try on a swing with your little one! Is swinging too much for your child’s sensory system? Try some heavy work first!
Have a little one who’s desperate to learn how to pump on a swing? Simply print off the workout and get started! You can use the first printable sheet as your guide, or cut out the larger circles on pages 2 and 3, punch a hole in the top of each, and put them on a ring to bring with you on the go!
Is your child dying to do a cartwheel? Maybe she won’t rest until she can make her way across the monkey bars. Or maybe he has his heart set on conquering some other skill that will get him a little cred on the playground.
If so, you’re in the right place! This is what our 10 DAYS TO CONQUER series is all about!
In this series of posts, you’ll find fun and simple 10-day workouts kids can do to work up to a skill that they really want to master.
These mini workouts are perfect for a therapist working with a child on one of these skills or for a parent looking to support his or her child’s development of a specific skill.
Kids will love working day by day to achieve their goals. And while we can’t make any guarantees that little ones will master the skill by the end of the 10 days, we can guarantee that you and your kids will have a blast trying and that every little bit of work will get them closer and closer to their goal!
